It's not the party the lads had planned, but Ant and Dec will mark 30 years in showbiz with a star studded online event and you can be there.
It's hard to believe that three decades have passed since the Geordie duo first appeared on our screens when they made their debut on much-loved CBBC series Byker Grove.
After staying at the Grove for four years the lads, who were better known to millions of viewers as PJ & Duncan, left the show to pursue a pop career which landed them chart hits with the likes of Eternal Love, Stuck On U and of course, Let's Get Ready to Rhumble.
Their music career came to an end in 1997, discounting England song We're on the Ball in 2002, and from then on they've been most famous for fronting a host of hit TV shows including SMTV, Pop Idol, Britain's Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
And to mark 30 years in the limelight and the release of their new tell-all book Once Upon A Tyne, Ant and Dec will host an online celebration, as part of the Fane Online series, with all profits going to The Prince’s Trust.
Tickets go on sale HERE from 10am on Friday, July 31.
Talking about the virtual party, Ant and Dec said: “Seeing as we can’t meet you all face to face in the current climate, we thought it would be a great idea to put on this event and see you all virtually.
“You’ll be able to ask us plenty of questions about being on the telly together for 30 years and we can share some of our favourite stories from the book.”
