Ant and Dec tease I'm A Celebrity return as they promise fans they'll be back 'very soon'

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions might be over, but hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have teased they won't be off screen for too long.

The hosts appeared to tease the long-awaited return of I'm A Celebrity, as they told fans they would be back "very soon".

Speaking at the end of the BGT finale on Saturday night, following Twist and Pulse's win, they left fans super excited.

As Dec thanked viewers for tuning in and for their support, Ant then added: "And we'll see you again very soon!"

With I'm A Celebrity just weeks away, while a launch date is not confirmed, fans questioned if this was what they were referring.

The jungle series began on November 18 last year, so it's thought a similar air date will be on the cards for the 2019 seires.

Reacting to Ant and Dec's comments, one excited fan tweeted: "'See you very soon' Yes, Ant, and I cannot wait."

Holly Willoughby replaced Ant (ITV)

Others shared this excitement, believing Ant and Dec were teasing the return.

Ant wasn't on the series last year after taking time out from TV commitments.

Holly Willoughby replaced him for the series, while Ant was confirmed to be heading back to the jungle this time around.

The boys recently revealed they were already working on the series, sharing a post on Instagram .

The Geordie presenters gathered together for a meeting with the show's producers to find out what's in store and who to expect for this year's bunch of celebrities.

Ant looked shocked in the photo as he was pictured with his mouth open, while Dec seemed worried as he pulled a face with very wide eyes.
