Ant and Dec tease fans with 'really strong' I'm A Celebrity line-up

Ant and Dec revealed that there is a "strong " line-up for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - months ahead of the launch night.

The TV double-act left fans wanting more after they made the admission on Steve & Karen's Breakfast Show on TFM.

Ant and Dec appeared on the show to advertise their new book 'Once Upon a Tyne' which marks their 30th anniversary in showbusiness, but it didn't take long for talk to turn to the much-loved ITV show.

This year's series is set to take place in Gwrych Castle in North Wales, instead of the usual location in Australia.

But although the pair remained tight-lipped about the group of celebrities joining them in the castle and refused to name any names, they confirmed it's worth waiting for, teasing that "the casting looks really strong so far".

There are however a few well-known faces rumoured to be contestants on the show like Jeremy Clarkson, Love Island's Maura Higgins, The Chase's Jenny Ryan, Nick Grimshaw and Lucy Fallon to name a few.

Show presenter Steve Furnell also shared his disappointment with the duo that they hadn't opted to host the show in their hometown of Newcastle.

But little did he know they'd actually "pitched lots of castles" to show bosses for this series with little success.

Eventually the 200-year-old - supposedly haunted - Gwrych Castle was selected.

Although the change in location is drastic, the boys are looking forward to hosting the series, as Ant said: "There's real curiosity over what it's gonna be like, particularly for us."

He added: "We're used to it being one way, but let's just see what happens."
