Ant and Dec take another pop at Boris Johnson on I'm A Celebrity

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant and Dec have made another dig at Boris Johnson during a segment on the show.

The Prime Minister is under intense pressure to explain why No 10 staff reportedly held two parties during lockdown last winter.

Witnesses have come forward to detail party games and festivities beyond midnight in Downing Street during the winter 2020 lockdown, expanding on reports first made in the Daily Mirror.

Now, the I'm A Celebrity presenters have poked fun at the situation while introducing the latest Bushtucker Trial.

Announcing that Naughty Boy, who has been doing a lot of cooking in the camp, had been picked by the voting public again, Ant said it was "because the British public insist on voting for a bumbling figure who puts on a spread for a select group of friends behind closed doors in a historic building."

Dec then stepped towards the camera with a party popper and said with a smirk: "Evening, Prime Minister."

It is not the first time they have had a go at the Prime Minister, after the camp mates returned to Gwrych Castle last week following the damage caused by Storm Arwen. At the time, Ant said: "Big news! You've elected a new camp leader."

Dec replied with a question of his own: "Exciting stuff…but what exactly though does the leader do?"

Ant replied: "Well they look increasingly dishevelled, give cushy jobs to their mates, and pretty much make it up as they go along."

I'm A Celebrity... continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
