Ant and Dec superfan threatens to derail TV BAFTAs by leaking the results

Ant and Dec are up for two awards at tonight's TV Baftas, and it looks like some fans are feeling impatient to find out if they'll take home the gongs.

One superfan has threatened to leak the results of the awards show before it airs on TV at 8pm on Sunday.

The ceremony actually airs about an hour after the show starts, with the results being released to the media before they're announced on TV.

The All Ant and Dec Twitter account has asked its 7,400 followers to vote in a poll on whether they want to see the results ahead of time.

It tweeted: "Hey guys, so the BAFTA’s aren’t broadcast live, they’re on a 1 hour delay, so would you like me to tell you the results before they’re aired or wait until they’re shown on TV."

174 people have voted so far and it's neck and neck, with 51 per cent of fans voting to see the results before the show.

The account has since pressed Twitter for more votes, posting: "This is dead on 50/50 please someone else vote, I don’t want to have to make the decision."

Simon Cowell welcomes Ant back

Ant and Dec are nominated for Best Entertainment Peformance for Saturday Night Takeaway and the Lew Grade Award for Entertainment Programme for the same show.

They've one the first award twice for Takeaway and another time for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

This year's nomination originally caused some backlash due to the fact one of the episodes was cancelled and Dec hosted the last two alone following Ant's involvement in a drink-driving crash, but their fans defended them.

He was found guilty and fined a record £83,000, as well being banned from the roads.
