Ant and Dec share pictures of their Covid tests as they joke about falling ill

TV favourites Ant and Dec have taken to Twitter to share a joke with fans after falling ill with Covid-19. Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly posted a joint message on their official Ant&Dec account with a picture of their positive tests.

The I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!, Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain's Got Talent presenters confirmed that they had been forced to miss tomorrow's National Television Awards. And they made a joke about being stricken by illness at the same time.

"Sadly, it’s true… We even get ill together!" the duo joked. And they explained: "After feeling unwell a few days ago we both tested and we’re positive for Covid.

Next year, viewers will get to see an I'm A Celebrity 'All Stars' series.

Sending lots of love to you both xxx" And @rugratbeebee98 commented: "Covid buddies huh? Get well soon you two and I know you’ll win tomorrow."
