Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway suspicions confirmed after causing ITV chaos

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly finally admitted to fans they were behind a series of strange moments on daytime television this week.

ITV viewers were left baffled at some very random moments during Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women.

Viewers were convinced the chaos had been caused by an Ant and Dec prank - I'm A Celebrity Get Outta Me Ear - that sees the presenters instruct celebrities to do all sorts of things via an ear piece.

Fans were proved to be right as co-host Stephen Mulhern was blamed for all this weeks' antics, reports the Mirror.

Suspicions have been raised when Lorraine interviewed KSI and accused him of "mugging" her off with his comments about Bake Off.

The strange moments continued into This Morning as host Holly Willoughby behaved very oddly during a cookery demo.

Later, Loose Women's Judi Love leapt off her seat shouting there was mice in the studio and co-star Jane Moore complained of cramp.

Many pointed the finger straight at Ant and Dec and they were found to be correct to suspect the Geordie duo.

The pair confessed to Takeway's involvement in the high jinks within a minute of Saturday's show starting.

As various newspaper headlines and tweets about the pranks flashed up on the screen behind them, Dec said: "It even made news in France! Lorraine Kelly made news in France.

"It's been all over the papers and social media"

Ant added: "Now a lot of people were speculating that it might have had something to do with Saturday Night Takeaway.

"We'd like to make it very clear that those people...were absolutely right and all will be revealed later in the show."

Dec then ended the item by saying: "Trust me, you do not want to miss it!"

Viewers were quick to react to the Geordie duo's admission, with one tweeting: "I KNEW when i was watching this morning the other day that something was off with it omg hahaha as if it’s for Saturday night takeaway."
