Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway fans left asking the same question

Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were all left asking the same question during tonight's episode.

The iconic pair returned for another helping of Saturday Night Takeaway, bursting with big surprises, live games and musical performances.

However, it was Gordon Ramsay's role in the star guest announcer booth that got viewers talking.

Fans were all asking how the famously foul-mouthed chef was not going to swear on tonight's family show.

Merci tweeted: "How the hell is Gordon Ramsey going to get through the show without swearing!?"

Steven said: "No swearing Gordon we're live on a family show."

And Charlotte wrote: "How is #gordonramsay going to get through the next hour without swearing?"

Ant and Dec joked that to prevent Gordon swearing they had invested in a 'bleep machine' costing £5,000.

But Gordon promised he wouldn't swear, saying he recognised it was a family show and his mum would be watching it at home.

Unfortunately, Gordon broke his promise 11 minutes into the show.

During a game where he guessed what viewers were saying my lip-reading, he dropped an expletive.

The viewer was trying to say 'pizza' but Gordon guessed 'p****d'.

Ant chipped in, saying: "We do have to apologise for your language during that."
