Ant and Dec revealed to be behind 'vandalism' at Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm

Geordie duo Ant and Dec were revealed to be the pranksters behind the 'vandalism' which appeared at Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm.

Fans of the farm, which is the subject of the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm , speculated on a Facebook group that the graffiti was in fact a prank for Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

Filming crews from ITV were seen at the West Oxfordshire farm and Ant and Dec often carry out undercover pranks on unsuspecting celebrities with Jeremy their latest victim, Oxfordshire Live reports.

Thames Valley Police said they had received "no reports" of vandalism, and told OxfordshireLive: "This was not a policing matter, but was filming that was pre-planned and that we were made aware of."

Images of the 'vandalism' showed a number of small tents set up at the farm, as well as a sign that said: "No more seeds, no more toil, keep your tractors off our soil."

Onlookers said the presenter's Land Rover was caught up in the incident, and his partner Lisa Hogan spoke to people who turned up, with numerous people standing around the shop.

Just last month, the official Saturday Night Takeaway Twitter account said Ant and Dec were "busy planning lots of amazing and hilarious surprises" ahead of the show's return next year.

Previously, the pair have donned disguises and pranked A-listers such as One Direction and Simon Cowell, with hilarious results.

Jeremy Clarkson, Diddly Squat Farm and ITV have been contacted for comment.
