Britain's Got Talent 's judges were moved to tears by a dad's song about parenthood and struggling as a musician in Saturday's episode.
John Courtenay, 46, penned and performed a heartfelt song about his life while pursuing his dream of being a singer.
His proud sons waved at him from the audience as the judges questioned John about himself.
He revealed he was "overwhelmed" to even be on stage at the Palladium.
"This is bonkers," said John, as he sat down at the piano.

He then launched into his song, which he admitted in lyrics was in the third person because it was so open and honest and he was fearful of opening up on stage.
He sang about his life as a dad of two, and how tough it was to be pursuing a career as a performer and working late nights, not seeing his sons as much as he would have liked and as much as they needed him.
The song was a touching combination of funny jokes and sad revelations as John poked fun at the judges and sang about previous winners of the show.

He explained he never thought he would be able to perform at the venue in front of so many people, and he didn't expect to win, but his youngest son asked him, 'Why not you?'
His sons were shown breaking down in tears as they watched their beloved dad perform, and when he finished, John's eldest son ran up on stage and hugged him.
John's act received a standing ovation from the judges and Amanda told him: "You've made me just fall to bits and I don't know why.

"I just saw a man who just made all his dreams come true."
Simon began to give him the first "yes", telling him "It was just a wonderful audition".
But in an unprecedented move - Ant and Dec ran on to the stage from the wings and down to the judges' podium.
They raised their hand over the golden buzzer as the delighted audience cheered.
Ant pushed the golden buzzer, putting John straight through to the final and causing gold confetti to be showered down on the stage.
The Geordie presenters have only done this once before, after Akshat Singh's audition for last year's series.
The judges all ran up on stage to be with John, and his youngest son Alfie also came up on stage and John picked him up and gave him a hug.
