Ant and Dec prank Craig David for Saturday Night Takeway and are left in hysterics

Ant and Dec were left in fits as laughter as their Saturday Night Takeaway prank on Craig David unfolded in hilarious fashion.

The Geordie lads are back at their mischievous best tomorrow night as Takeaway returns for the third episode of its new series and following on their prank on Anthony Joshua last week, which saw the champion boxer forced to ask a chef to grate cheese on his abs, 7 Days and Fill Me In singer Craig is their latest victim for the I'm A Celebrity Get out of My Ear sketch.

Past victims have included everyone from Cheryl to Louis Walsh and the skit involves a celebrity receiving instructions from Ant and Dec through an earpiece.

In a preview of the Craig David prank, which you can watch in the video above, the multi-platinum singer is looking for a house sitter and is ordered by the presenters to read his housekeeping list - to the tune of 7 Days, with him having no clue what he was about to read out.

He tells the unsuspecting candidate, "So I do the weekly wash on a Monday, the bins go out on Tuesday, I change the bedsheets on Wednesday and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then I chill on Sunday.”

Ant & Dec then order the 14 time BRIT nominee to sing the lines to the melody of his huge number one hit and he begrudgingly follows their instructions, while still keeping a straight face.

That bit of the sketch alone is enough to have Ant and Dec laughing their heads off and to see how the rest of the prank pans out you'll need to tune into Saturday Night Takeaway on March 7 at 7pm on ITV.

This week's show, guest hosted by Greg James, will see BGT champions Twist & Pulse star in the End of the Show Show and Jax Jones & Ella Henderson entertain as guest performers.
