Ant and Dec make another dig at Boris Johnson and fans love it

Ant and Dec delighted fans when they roasted Prime Minister Boris Johnson during last year's series of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

And the duo were back on form to mock the PM again over the latest scandal engulfing Mr Johnson and the Conservative Party over a number of parties allegedly taking place at 10 Downing Street.

On Friday sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher partnered up to mock Mr Johnson and his cabinet ahead of the Crystal Palace and Brighton match.

There has been widespread outrage after Mr Johnson claimed he thought drinks that took place in the Downing Street garden on May 20 2020 was a 'work event' while the rest of Britain was in lockdown.

Former Manchester United star Gary appeared to address the elephant in the room when he said: "It is a peculiar rivalry, but to be fair we get these Friday night football matches, we were at the Brentford one last time it was absolutely fantastic.

"We always seem to just get a massive party."

And former Liverpool player Jamie added: "Let's be straight tonight though this is not a party this is about work."

He continued: "If you speak to Graham Potter, Patrick Vieira, those 22 players on the pitch - they have got to know the difference between work and a party and if they get that wrong and think they are in party mode, they are going to be in big, big trouble."

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who are back on our screens on Ant and Dec's Limitless Win on Saturday night's, joined in the roast by sharing the clip of Gary and Jamie on Sky Sports, and they added: "#EveningPrimeMinister #ForNow" with a crying-laughing emoji.

@allantanddec replied: "Ant and Dec for prime minister."

@CharlieB121 said: "Haha....bring back Evening Prime Minister jokes. Love these from you guys xxx"

And @iamadreamer87 told them: "Just when I thought I couldn’t love you any more."

Viewers were in stitches when the award-winning TV hosts poked fun at the Prime Minister on their hit ITV reality show back in November.

They mockied the PM's Peppa Pig "forgive me" speech to the CBI and the presenting duo took another swipe they appointed a new camp leader in the Welsh castle.

Dec asked: "What exactly does the leader do?"

And Ant replied: "They look increasingly dishevelled, give cushy jobs to their mates, and pretty much make it up as they go along."

Dec then took a step forward with a mischievous grin and said: "Evening, Prime Minister."

Then after Ant referred to the camp 'lords' Dec asked: "How do you get to become a Lord?"

And Ant replied: "Donate £3m to the Conservative Party?"

Dec exclaimed: "Evening again Prime Minister" and, pointing to Ant, he joked: "He's coming for you, tonight!"
