Ant and Dec made £15,124 a day last year after returning to TV together

Telly duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made £15,124 a day last year as the pair got their TV careers back on track.

The monster sum makes up just part of their earnings that are paid into one of their firms called Hurley Promotions Ltd.

The firm – named after the dog Ant shares with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong – has seen profits increase to £5.5 million for last year.

That’s £1 million up on 2018 when 44-year-old Ant took an extended leave of absence from TV screens to go to rehab after he crashed his car while over the drink-drive limit in March 2018.

He pulled out of the remaining episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway, which was mid-series during the smash in west London, leaving Dec to present by himself.

And he was also ruled out of I’m A Celeb, with Holly Willoughby taking over co-hosting duties on ITV’s hugely popular show.

But the pair have bounced back with a healthy balance sheet.

The Geordie duo hosted their final live show last month and revealed they would be filming the remaining episodes in advance.

And they’ve also have pleaded with fans to stay indoors to help protect cancer sufferer Mila Sneddon, four.

The TV faves shared a video to highlight the importance of staying at home for those at particular high risk of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ant and Dec threw their support behind little Mila – who has a vulnerable immune system and is currently undergoing cancer treatment – in a clip shared online.

In the video, which shows the stars sitting separately, the pair beg for “everybody stay at home.

Ant said: “Hi everybody Ant and Dec here, not together because we’re at home like everybody should be.”

Dec added: “Absolutely, and as we heard Mila wants us to tell everybody to stay at home so we can protect her and thousands and thousands people like her.”
