Ant and Dec hailed 'better than ever' as they return to Saturday Night Takeaway after hiatus

Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were ecstatic as Ant and Dec returned to the show tonight after a year-long hiatus, with fans branding the pair "better than ever".

The pair were back on the show tonight following a year-long hiatus after Ant took a break from presenting to focus on his recovery.

Complete with gags galore and some incredibly sweet surprises, which included buying one family a whole house, which left fans delighted that the Geordie duo were back on Saturday night TV.

A particular highlight for many was when the pair interrupted the Pussycat Dolls' performance to "censor" it.
