Ant and Dec forced to step in over raunchy Pussycat Dolls performance on Saturday Night Takeaway

Ant and Dec were forced to step in tonight as the Pussycat Dolls took to the stage at the end of Saturday Night Takeaway.

The Dolls started off their routine wearing capes but soon discarded them off to reveal raunchy outfits.

Ant and Dec were sitting in the audience - but ran in when the dance moves became increasingly seductive.

The pair stepped in front of the band and held censor signs over the girls as they danced.

The hilarious scenes had the audience in stitches of laughter.

Eventually the boys gave up their mission and the girls danced away to a medley of their best hits.

At the start of the show Ant and Dec went to see the Pussycat Dolls in their dressing room.

And the pair told them to keep their outfits classy, because it was a "family show".

There were then several jokes along the same theme from the pair after the Dolls much complained about performance on the X Factor.

Thousands complained to Ofcom following that performance, slamming the raunchy moves that were broadcast pre-watershed.
