Viewers of Ant and Dec's new documentary Ant & Dec's DNA Journey were left querying over whether a twist was looming after a discovery.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly found out some pretty interesting details about their ancestors, as well as finding living relatives.
Throughout the first part of the ITV documentary, both hosts received alerts to tell them when researches had discovered a new DNA match for each of them.
People across the country and even around the world had taken DNA tests, as had Ant and Dec, before matches were discovered.
One moment saw Ant discover Irish heritage in his ancestry, leaving him pretty stunned.
Geordie pal Dec had known for years he too had Irish links in his family, but neither of them knew this was the case for Ant too.
Later on in the episode, Ant was revealed to be related to half a village of McPartlins in Drumkeeran, which is a village in County Leitrim, Ireland.
As the hosts looked into their families, viewers took to Twitter after growing a little suspicious.
Viewers questioned whether the best friends might end up discovering they themselves are related in the documentary.
One viewer tweeted: "Why do I get the feeling Ant & Dec are gonna find out they’re related?"
Another said: "If this doesn’t end with Ant and Dec finding out they’re related I’ll be very disappointed."
A third agreed: "I hope it ends up that they’re related."
Viewers were loving the pair opening up on their bond during the documentary which took two years to film.
It didn't stop Dec joking he was about to ditch Ant for a new cousin though, leaving fans in hysterics.
