Ant and Dec confirm huge Saturday Night Takeaway shake-up tonight as they self-isolate

Fans tuning into Saturday Night Takeaway tonight should expect a bit of a twist as hosts Ant and Dec host the show from their own homes.

The much-loved double act have ditched the suits for some more suitable home lounge wear to tease what is coming up on the penultimate show this evening in a Twitter video.

Both are currently self-isolating in their own homes following government advice earlier this week that the public should only leave their homes for food shopping and one bit of exercise a day as coronavirus precautions ramp up.

And it seems that Ant and Dec have taken the advice to "work from home where possible" quite literally as they get ready to present the show from their own living rooms for the first time ever.

This comes after the pair hosted last week's show for the first time ever without a studio audience.

Wearing a blue sweater as he stood in his garden, Dec announces excitedly in the video: "It's Saturday, we're still on air, so it's time for a What's In The Show Shooooow! Home edition! What have we got Ant?"

Lounging on his sofa, Ant says: "It's a belter of a show Declan! We've got a classic audience hit, we've got an I'm A Celebrity, Get Out Me Ear with Richard Madeley.

"We go undercover on Gordon Ramsay. And an End Of The Show Show with the one and only Kylie Minogue!"

Dec, now in his living room, continues: "Plus it's the final episode of Men In Brown. Who is the celebrity host and can we stop The Squids taking over the earth? Find out tonight!"

Ant adds: "And we did a show last week without a studio audience, this week we're doing the show without a studio because we're doing the show from our living rooms!"

Fans flocked to Twitter to congratulate the pair for improvising considering the circumstances and were excited ahead of tonight's episode.

One tweeted: "My kids and I are so happy and excited to see you two tonight and keep our Saturday night family tradition going..."

While another commented: "I wish this show could be on every week! Saturday nights are rubbish without it."

A third remarked: "Proper Saturday night entertainment. Something to look forward to. Takes our minds off other things for a while. Love this show. #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

"Will be watching as always guys x I wish you and your families well x x," another wrote.
