Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have revealed the start date for their new game show Limitless Win.
Fresh off the back of I'm A Celebrity, the duo are set to host a brand new ITV primetime game show, where the lucky contestants that take part in the show could win an unlimited cash prize - which is a game show first.
And now the pair have unveiled just when the show - which has been described as a show "packed with drama, jeopardy and real emotion" - will be on viewers' screens and fans can't wait to tune in to see the pair as they present the hotly-anticipated game show.
Ant and Dec will join contestants, who will answer questions to climb a money ladder that never ends for the chance to win a potentially massive prize. However, if they push their luck too far, they'll crash out and lose their winnings.
The show will start on Saturday December 8 and Ant and Dec shared their excitement as they spoke on ITV's Lorraine today.
Ant said: "The two of us are doing something very exciting next, aren't we Declan?"
As Dec added: "We've got a brand new show in the New Year and it's called Ant and Dec's Limitless Win and get this, it is the first game show in TV history with a limitless jackpot. There is no limit to the amount of money you can win on this show. Limitless Win will be starting on Saturday January 8th so stick it in your diaries cause we think you'll love it!"
Ant and Dec revealed they had been working on the show for some time and were looking forward to bringing it into fruition.
"We’re genuinely so excited to launch this new series. It’s something we’ve been developing with Hello Dolly and ITV for a while now and we can’t wait for you all to experience it," Ant said earlier this year. "We hope you love it as much as we do."
Dec added: "It’s been a number of years since we launched a brand new TV format, it’s not something we do very often. But we’ve hit on something that is ground-breaking and innovative, and that’s why we are so excited to host this series and bring it to the nation."
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV head of entertainment commissioning, commented: "It's hugely exciting to be working with the wonderful Ant and Dec on a new primetime entertainment format where contestants can win a limitless cash prize. Unpredictable, tense and guaranteed to have viewers on the edge of their seats, this is a quiz show unlike anything you’ll have seen before."
