Another ticket price stat that Georgia football leads the nation in

Georgia football fans are known to dish out some big money to see their Bulldogs play, regardless of the location.

That’s a great thing for fan atmosphere and helping Georgia to win football games. But with high demand for tickets comes high prices.

For the second straight season, the Bulldogs lead the nation in terms of secondary market average list price. This year, that average price is over $480 per ticket, according to TicketIQ.

This is nothing new, as Georgia ticket prices have been increasing at a crazy rate in recent memory.

When it comes to price increase over the decade of teams in the TicketIQ top 25, Georgia stands out like a sore thumb with a 144% increase in prices since 2011.

The madness starts in week one, a road game vs Vanderbilt, with ticket prices  averaging $145 for the SEC matchup on secondary markets. That is college football’s most expensive opening week game.

You can find your tickets here.

The fact that Georgia ticket prices for road games are skyrocketing is good news and bad news. For starters, it means Georgia travels. On the other hand, your bank account may not be thanking you.
