Another QB injury for 49ers: Josh Johnson ruled out with concussion

The 49ers may be on to their fifth quarterback. Starter Brock Purdy hurt his elbow on San Francisco’s first series, then his backup, Josh Johnson, hit his head on the turf early in the third quarter. He’s being evaluated for a concussion.

Johnson went to the medical tent, then walked to the locker room with the training staff.

Purdy re-entered the game. Christian McCaffrey and Kyle Juszczyk are other QB options for the 49ers.
