Another dengue case in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: Another dengue case was reported on Friday taking the count in the past one month to over 12 and this year 55.

A 30-year-old woman from Keshav Nagar of Faizullaganj was found to be infected with the disease. She was suffering from fever and fatigue for the last 4 days along with joint pain and came to Balrampur Hospital OPD on Thursday. She was sent back after taking blood samples and prescribing drugs. The result confirmed dengue on Friday.

Incharge Vector Borne Disease Unit Dr KP Tripathi said, “Patient's condition is stable and she is recuperating at home. We have sanitized the entire area adjacent to her and anti larva sprinkling has been done.”

Former SP minister KP Yadav had died of dengue shock syndrome at a private hospital on Wednesday.
