The ACT has recorded another COVID-19 case in hotel quarantine.

The latest case is a male aged under 20 who is a family member of a female in her 40s and a male under 20 who tested positive last week.

The family arrived in Canberra on a government-facilitated repatriation flight on March 1.

All three family members are in quarantine together in a separate area of the hotel to other returned travellers.

The latest positive test brings the ACT's total of active COVID-19 cases to five, all of which are in hotel quarantine.

ACT Health is conducting whole genome sequencing for the two returned travellers who tested positive for the virus on Sunday.

All five active cases were well at this time and remained in hotel quarantine, ACT Health said.
