More than 200 pupils will have to self-isolate after a positive Covid-19 case at a secondary school.
A total of 220 students and two staff at Bristol Cathedral Choir School, based in Hotwells, will have to quarantine for 14 days following the confirmed infection.
All other pupils can continue to attend school as normal.
In a letter previously sent to parents, a spokesperson for the school said: "Please do not send your child to school if they or anyone in their household are displaying any of the symptoms above and call 111 for further information.
"Please follow the latest government guidance on self-isolation: if a child develops symptoms compatible with coronavirus, they should self-isolate."
The exact number of pupils and staff in quarantine as a result of the outbreaks is not known, but at least 47 schools across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire have been impacted.
You should book a Covid-19 test if your child has at least one of the following:
A high temperature - This means if they feel hot to touch on the chest or back. You do not need to measure their temperature.
A new continuous cough - This means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or three or more coughing episodes in 24 hours. If your child usually has a cough, it may be worse than usual).
A loss or change to their sense of smell or taste - They've noticed they cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
If your child does not have symptoms of coronavirus but has other cold-like symptoms, such as a runny nose, they do not need to be tested, and they or members of your household do not need to self-isolate. Your child can attend school if fit to do so.
