Another Cedartown, Georgia running back considering UGA

The last Cedartown High running back that moved on to the Georgia Bulldogs had a fairly productive four years in Athens. Nick Chubb finished his collegiate career in 2017 as the programs second leading career rusher and one of UGA’s all-time greats. He finished his rookie year with the Cleveland Browns by leading the team in rushing yards (5.2 ypc), gaining 1,145 all-purpose yards and scoring 10 touchdowns.

Now comes Cedartown running back Kobe Pryor, a 6’0″, 205-pound, three-star athlete, who just happens to workout with Chubb on a daily basis in the the off-season. The top-750 player nationally, 55th ranked running back and 74th ranked player in the Peach State, has fielded offers from several Power 5 programs and has decided on his top six.

Although listed as only a three-star running back, his array of quality offers show two things — he is highly underrated and the elite level of high school football in Georgia is second to none.

Pryor’s top-six programs are Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, LSU and South Carolina. With 21 known offers, Pryor cut a few notable programs who had offered from his list, including Texas, Michigan, Notre Dame and Nebraska. Pryor has set his announcement date for May 18.
