Despite another week of watching from the sidelines, there was more movement in the latest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports for a handful of Big Ten teams, including a new team appearing in this week’s poll.
Minnesota returned to the Amway Coaches Poll in the Week 6 edition, moving from unranked to No. 25 in this week’s rankings. The Gophers are one of five Big Ten squads to appear in the latest poll, joining Ohio State (No. 5), Penn State (No. 8), Wisconsin (No. 15) and Michigan (No. 19).
There wasn’t much activity for the Big Ten outside of the Gophers joining the poll, with Ohio State moving up one spot and Wisconsin dropping a spot as the only other changes.
Michigan State was nowhere to be seen in the latest rankings, failing to receive a single vote in the coaches poll again this week.
