Another 4x4 has got stranded on a Welsh beach and ended up being submerged twice

The trend for amphibious vehicles on south Wales beaches continued this week, with another 4x4 getting stuck in the sand.

This time it was further along the coast at Burry Port , rather than LLanelli . 

The car, thought to have been a white Jeep, was spotted stranded and at the mercy of the tide on Wednesday.

It is believed to have been submerged at least twice before being towed away.

Last Wednesday, a vehicle was abandoned on the sand at Llanelli , where it was almost totally underwater when the tide came in.

The same tractor that rescued the Land Rover from North Dock beach in Llanelli is believed to have been used for the recovery operation at Burry Port as well.

Llanelli police tweeted to say that the Land Rover had been used for anti-social behaviour before being abandoned on the beach.

Drivers were warned against using unauthorised vehicles on North Dock beach by Llanelli police.
