More than 1,400 people have tested positive for coronavirus, latest figures show.
The Department of Health has announced that 1,406 people, as of 4pm on Monday (August 31), have had a positive result.
This is down by 309 on Sunday's (August 30) total.
A further two deaths have also been recorded within the last 28 days - up by just one on the day before.
A total of 41,501 people have now died, the Department of Health has said.
A total of 335,873 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the UK - up from 334,467 the day before.
Separate figures published by the UK’s statistics agencies show there have now been 57,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
NHS England said on Monday that a further four people who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,554.
The patients were aged between 58 and 75 and all had a known underlying condition.
The dates of the deaths ranged from June 16 to August 29.
Another three deaths have been reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
In Northern Ireland, no new deaths were reported and another 58 people have tested positive for Covid-19, the Department of Health said.
