Anonymous Oliver Burke 'won't be at Celtic next season' as terrible run goes on

Former Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke endured another miserable afternoon for Celtic on Sunday.

The Scotland international was replaced at half-time against Hearts with the score at 1-1 after he produced an anonymous performance.

It was symptomatic of his recent form with Sky Sports co-commentor Andy Walker predicting Burke, who is on loan from West Brom, has no future at the Scottish champions.

"I didn't notice him at all, Burke, in that first half. He comes with such a big reputation. I think he'll be one of a number of Celtic players who won't be here next season," he said.

"It's great for Celtic fans to see Dembele on."

Burke initially did well at Celtic, but his form has faded badly in recent weeks since Neil Lennon took over.

Forest academy graduate Burke, 22, was replaced by 16-year-old debutant Karamoko Dembele, who is seen as one of the most exciting prospects in Europe.

Another former Reds trainee, Jake Mulraney, was on target for Hearts at Celtic Park. Mulraney did not make a senior appearance before joining QPR.
