Krystian Bielik has joined Derby County on a permanent basis.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with Charlton Athletic last season, helping them to earn promotion to the Championship after beating Sunderland in the League One play-off final back in May.
Now he is in line to face the Addicks at some point this season with a trip to the Valley currently scheduled for October 19.
Bielik has signed a five-year contract with the Rams and Phillip Cocu is delighted with the transfer.
"He is a young player at the age of 21 and it is a permanent deal which I think is a very good investment for the club," Cocu told dcfc.co.uk. "I am very happy he has joined the team.
"He will get better and develop, but for his age he is a very good player."
After impressing for Poland at this summer's U21 European Championships, there were some calls from Arsenal fans for Bielik to be given a chance by Unai Emery in the first-team this season.
But the reaction is rather different now.
Many have taken to social media and suggested now is the perfect time to press ahead with plans to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
