'Announce Isak!' - Arsenal fans decide next transfer with first January deal to be confirmed

Arsenal are set to announce their first deal of the January transfer window.

And it has prompted an interesting reaction from some Gunners supporters on social media who are keen to see additions to the first-team squad before deadline day.

On Monday morning it was confirmed that youngster Harry Clarke had been recalled from his loan spell at Ross County following 17 appearances which saw him weigh in with three goals and two assists.

Although, the defender's return to Arsenal will be short-lived as football.london understands he will be returning to Scotland to spend the rest of the season on loan at Hibernian.

The two clubs reached an agreement over the weekend, with an option to buy clause being included in the deal and all that remains is an official announcement.

Despite this imminent transfer having most likely set to have little to no impact on what Mikel Arteta and Edu have planned for the remainder of the January window, some fans have taken it upon themselves to suggest what the next deal should be.

Amid links to the likes of Alexander Isak, Georginio Wijnaldum, Bruno Guimaraes and Renato Sanches, a simple two-word reply shows who fans want to see join the club this month.

With that said, it's not only new signings that supporters are keen on as there have been some shouts for the club to repeat the Clarke trick and recall William Saliba from his loan spell at Marseille.

Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...
