'Announce Grealish!' - Arsenal fans in transfer meltdown after Bukayo Saka's six-word message

Jack Grealish to Arsenal is the one transfer deal many Gunners fans are hoping for this summer.

In a dream scenario, the north London outfit - who are in the market for a creative midfielder - manage to agree a fee with Aston Villa for their captain and Mikel Arteta solves a massive problem in his squad.

However, realistically the chances of Grealish joining the Gunners are highly unlikely.

But amid talk that Manchester City are hoping to complete the signing of Grealish for £100million after Euro 2020, some Arsenal fans are not giving up hope of a record-breaking transfer in their favour.

Not for the first time in recent months, this theory is solely based around the 25-year-old's bond with Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka.

The pair have developed a friendship despite playing for different clubs - one that went from strength to strength last season and has continued at international level.

Both featured on Wednesday night as England beat Denmark 2-1 to reach the Euro 2020 final and it's what happened after the game that has prompted a rather brilliant reaction from many Arsenal supporters on social media.

Saka, who played a major role in getting the Three Lions back on level terms after falling behind to a wonder strike from Mikkel Damsgaard, took to Twitter and uploaded some highlights of the night with a six-word message.

"What a team!" he posted. "One step closer."

And as spotted by several Arsenal fans, one of the images Saka used in the tweet was of him with his arm around Grealish whilst pointing at something or someone.

That particular image has sparked some hilarious, yet ambitious, theories about Grealish joining the Gunners this summer.

Take a look at some of the best responses as Saka's message sent a few Arsenal fans into a transfer frenzy...
