Annie Lennox is coming to Glasgow – 10 years after her last Scottish show

Scots music legend Annie Lennox is set to return to Glasgow very special one-off show - and her first publicly available event in Scotland in over a decade.

Hard to believe that it's been ten years since she played in her home country but Annie is planning to return in style.

She will take to the stage at the SEC Armadillo, on September 26 for a night of music and concersation.

The news is sure to delight fans of a certain age, and will most definitely be music to the ears of a lot of 80s kids in Glasgow who played her Eurythmics records on repeat growing up.

The Aberdeen-born singer has released 13 studio albums, sold over 80 million records worldwide and even been named as one of The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone.

Her one-off show offers fans the opportunity to learn more about the woman behind some of the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s - including Sweet Dreams are Made of This to Why.

All proceeds will go towards The Circle, the charitable organisation she founded to help create transformative change in the lives of girls and women facing the challenges of gender disempowerment across the globe.

Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday at 10am online here or by phoning 0844 395 4000
