Annexation and Iran on agenda as US secretary of state meets Israeli leaders

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday is to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and incoming defence minister Benny Gantz to voice support for annexation of the West Bank. FRANCE 24 international affairs editor Philip Turle says the meetings is controversial among the international community, which does not recognise the legitimacy of Israel’s settlement plan.
