Anne Robinson says she is already tired of the war against the woke and doesn't want to be told what she can and can't say.
The veteran TV host, 76, is 'past offending people' and won't change her style as she takes over the Countdown hotseat.
Anne explained how a contestant on the show said she shouldn't use the term 'foreigner' after saying they 'teach English to non-English people'.
She also doubts that a programme like The Weakest Link would be commissioned today.
But Anne isn't about to fall into line and ensure she hand picks every word to make sure she doesn't upset anyone.
She told The Express : "I am fed up with it, I'm fed up with people telling me I've got to say ''mixed heritage'' and not ''mixed race''.
"I just think we're being told what to do by people who aren't in a position to tell us what to do.
"I don't want my language mangled - I don't want to lose the English language. I don't want to offend anyone but we're well passed whether we offend people."
She has already had one run in just days into her new job.
Asking a contestant about his job, he explained he teaches English to "non-English speaking people."
Anne then replied: "You mean you teach English to foreigners?" before the contestant said: "We never say that."
Replacing Nick Hewer as the first female host of the long-running Channel 4 series, Anne has already made her mark.
She has made a typically fearsome start to life on Countdown - contestants are already trying to avoid eye contact.
The TV veteran was nicknamed The Queen of Mean because of her brutal comments on the Weakest Link.
She takes up the Countdown reins from June 28 but filming has started - and it's all a bit tense!
She joins numbers whizz Rachel Riley and wordsmith Susie Dent as the three formidable females get down to work.
Rachel revealed: "It’s been really fun watching Anne very quickly find her feet in the Countdown studio and seeing the contestants in the new groove with her.
"She’s not shy of asking them funny questions and the responses have ranged from going into their own comedy routines to not looking directly at her and hoping she doesn’t see them - it’s been very lively!"
Anne accepts she wouldn't be able to get away with any of her Weakest Link put-downs in 2021.
The telly star believes that the world has moved on and bosses would demand a more toned-down version if it was still in production.
She told The Daily Mail: "I wasn’t exactly drowning kittens but I would never get away with all that now - times have changed so much that I don’t think we could even make The Weakest Link today.
"I don’t think half the things I said then I could say now, like 'Are you really that stupid?' or 'Why are you so fat?'
"That would be off-limits, everyone would be too worried about the poor contestants’ mental health."
