Anne Nolan drops out of GMB interview after falling ill amid cancer treatment

Anne Nolan dropped out of a Good Morning Britain interview with sister Linda today after falling ill amid her cancer treatment.

The 69-year-old had been due to appear on Good Morning Britain today with sister Linda, 61, following their joint cancer diagnoses at the weekend.

Introducing Anne on the programme today, presenter Kate Garraway said: "From performing side-by-side to going through the toughest of times together, Nolan sisters Linda and Anne were diagnosed with cancer just days apart in March.

"We're going to be hearing about their gruelling fight against the disease which of course took the life of their beloved sister Bernie."

Co-host Ben Shephard added: "Linda's going to be joining us, Anne's not quite well enough, unfortunately, but looking forward to catching up."

"She's ok but just a bit too poorly," Kate explained.

"Yeah, chemo," Ben supplied.

Anne has stage three breast cancer, the most serious being stage four.

A spokesman for Linda, 61, and Anne told the Mirror: "It is with a heavy heart to confirm that Linda and Anne are battling cancer together. Linda’s incurable secondary cancer has spread from her hip to her liver, with Anne having a grade three breast tumour.

"They were both diagnosed following filming of their Quest Red show The Nolans Go Cruising and are now undergoing chemotherapy together

"Linda and Anne would like to thank the public for all the love and support they’ve received.”

Linda previously said that losing her hair reminds her of their late sister Bernie, who died from breast cancer in 2013..

She told The Sun : "I look in the mirror now and I see Bernie, because I think we're so alike anyway and it just brings back all of her trauma and how sick she was."

Meanwhile, Anne tearfully said: "I don't want to die. I love my life so much."
