She was refreshingly open about infertility issues in the post. The actress wrote, "All kidding aside, for everyone going through fertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies."

She and producer husband Adam Shulman were married on September 29, 2012 in a traditional Jewish ceremony. In 2016, she gave birth to their first child, a son named Jonathan
