Anne Hathaway stepped out at the Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Sunday night in her first red carpet appearance since the birth of her second child.
The 37-year-old actress - who reportedly gave birth in December - wore a plunging gold sequin dress by Versace as she posed on the awards red carpet. She later took to the stage to present the best actor gong to Joker star Joaquin Phoenix.
Hathaway was also nominated for her role in Modern Love.
The actress shared a shot of her dress on Instagram with the caption "welcome back" as friends including Mindy Kaling and Camila McConaughey complimented the look.
Hathaway has previously opened up about going through "infertility hell" in her journey to becoming a mother.
"Each time I was trying to get pregnant and it wasn’t going my way, someone else would manage to conceive," she told the Daily Mail last year, "I knew intellectually that it didn’t happen just to torment me, but to be honest, it felt a little bit like it did."
When she announced her second pregnancy, Hathaway gave a shout-out to anyone tackling fertility issues of their own. "For everyone going through infertility and conception hell" she wrote under an Instagram post of her baby bump, "please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love."
Hathaway had her first child with husband Adam Shulman in 2017, a boy called Jonathan Rosebanks.
