Annan bar ready to welcome the Tartan Army for Scotland's Euro 2020 clash with Croatia

Members of Annan’s Tartan Army will be making the journey to Hampden tonight just days after returning home from Wembley.

But for the unlucky ones who weren’t able to get a ticket for the match, they’ll be at their at their HQ at The Shed Bar in the town.

Owner Steven Ceates has set up 23 screens inside and another four in the beer garden to make sure everybody gets a good view of the Scotland side as they hopefully make dreams come true.

Steven said: “This is going to be a massive game in our pub’s history, never mind for Scotland as a whole.

“I’ve been supporting the Annan Tartan Army for about 20 years and the ones that can’t make it to Glasgow will be here.

“The atmosphere is going to be electric.”

Scott Hawkins, 47, formed the local Tartan Army Supporters Group with pals in 1999.

He said: “About 50 of us travelled to London by car for Friday’s game against England and it was absolutely amazing.

“I was at the World Cup in France for Scotland’s game against Brazil but if we qualify tonight, it’s going to be something else.

“I didn’t manage to get a ticket for tonight’s game so I’ll be at The Shed watching.

“I’d like to see Che Adams starting and I’m hoping we win 2-0.

“It’s hard to imagine what it’s going to feel like if we qualify. It’s never happened before.

“If it happens tonight, it’s going to be emotional.”
