Anna Geary has said she feels 'sky high' after hosting the first episode of her new radio show.
Supercharged with Anna Geary aired on Sunday evening on RTE Radio One, which was a major milestone for the former Cork camogie star and fitness enthusiast
And in the aftermath, Anna took to social media to gush about her time in the presenting chair.
She explained: "What an experience! It’s feeling a bit surreal. My adrenaline is still sky high. My first time presenting on RTE Radio One. I’m feeling all the emotions, thinking of all the incredible broadcasters who have sat in that chair before me.
"Lads, I didn’t feel worthy."
Anna had had hosting roles in the past alongside the likes of Dec Pierce on Today FM, but this was a huge step for the Cork native.
She continued: "Me nerves! Oh they were there- and evident at the start, but chatting to my fabulous guests helped me to relax into it.
"So much to learn, so much to improve. But I did it, and I loved it! It’s been a long time ambition. I felt the fear and did it anyway.
"Supercharged with Anna Geary is your health & wellbeing show after all! I’m just the gal in the chair.
"Thank you for all of the messages, from those that I know, and equally from those that I don’t."
Some of Anna's famous friends took to the comments to congratulate her on the success.
Former Ireland international Stephanie Roche said: "Brilliant Anna! Congrats" while Erin McGregor commented: "Amazing! Well done girl" with other names like Ciara Kelly and Anna's partner Kev Sexton also chipping in with supportive comments.
The show returns next Sunday at 6pm on RTE Radio One.
