RTE star Anna Geary admits that being a Cork Rose on the Rose of Tralee was one of the best things she has ever done.
The Ireland's Fittest Family coach took part in the Rose Of Tralee back in 2014 and has shared some snaps from The Dome on her Instagram account.
Looking back on her time in the pageant, she said she was "so proud" to represent her county.
She said: “One of the best things I EVER did was enter the Rose of Tralee... it gave me the chance to meet some exceptional gals (and guys!!!), make fantastic memories and have some seeeeeerious craic!
“I got a chance to represent where I come from, which I was so proud to do too! It was something I had always wanted to do growing up...
“I never thought it would actually happen, but then at the last possible moment, the stars aligned and I got the opportunity!
“Ya never know what can happen... surround yourself with people that back you, that encourage you and want you to succeed at being your best self! Forget the rest..."
Anna said she made pals from around the world in the festival and said they were amazing people.
She added: “I learned so much about myself in the process and I learned to believe in myself more! I also realised I have the best supporters!!!!
"I will miss it this year and will miss our EPIC reunion nights... Until next year."
The 33-year-old has won an impressive four All-Ireland medals as part of the Cork Camogie team.
Speaking about the return of Ireland’s Fittest Family, she said she was looking forward to “tormenting” the other coaches again.
She said: “So much has happened, yet it still feels like only yesterday that we were ‘hanging tough’ and climbing over walls.
“I count myself lucky to have the chance to be back again! Every step has been taken to make it possible this year!
“I look forward to tormenting the other coaches again.
“Game face, and smiles, at the ready (but mostly game face!!)
“Season 8 @irelandsfittestfamily here we go.”
