Anna Faris says she had a 'gut feeling' that her exes were cheating on her

Anna Faris has revealed how she had a "gut feeling" that her exes were cheating on her, even though they called her "crazy" when she confronted them about it.

The Scary Movie actress, 43, said she decided to ignore her feelings about one ex after he denied it but years later was proven right.

Speaking on her podcast Anna Faris is Unqualified, she told special guest Kat Von D she thought women were taught to "suppress" their suspicions because they might be deemed crazy.

Anna said: "I woke them up in the middle of the night and was like, 'Are you f***ing so and so?' He was like, 'You're crazy.'

"I'm pretty oblivious sometimes. Especially in relationships. Of course, I don't want to believe that anything [is wrong], but there was that gut feeling that was starting to grow more and more."

She added: "Not to be too gender-specific, I do think as women we're sort of taught to suppress fear or suspicion, because we might be deemed as suspicious or neurotic or crazy."

It wasn't until after the relationship had ended that she discovered the ex had cheated on her.

Anna continued: "I think in my case I was like, 'OK, maybe he's right. Maybe I am crazy.'

"The fact that I felt those things and I chose to bury them [stinks]."

The mum-of-one didn't specify which cheating ex she was talking about.

Anna was married to fellow actor Ben Indra from 2004 until 2007.

She tied the knot with Chris Pratt in 2009 but they separated in 2017 before their divorce was finalised the following year.

The couple share one son, seven-year-old Jack.

Anna is currently dating cinematographer Michael Barrett.
