Anna Dello Russo, accessories queen, to design for H&M
Jil Sander suit with peplum, Prada statement sunglasses and an ADR essential - the mini clutch. The reason she's against big bags at fashion week? Too much of a hindrance in a crowd Photograph: Jacopo Raule/Getty ImagesWatermelons, pineapples, cherries: ADR's worked her way through all manner of fruit on her head. Here she is in a gold cherry creation by Alan Journo. Expect netting to appear somewhere in the H&M collection Photograph: Eric Ryan/Getty ImagesFruit isn't the only food group ADR's made a foray into either. At last year's Met ball she topped off her Alexander McQueen suit with an egg fascinator. This look also showcases the stylist's fancy for a jolly earringPhotograph: Larry Busacca/Getty Images
If you had no knowledge of ADR but heard she was designing accessories for H&M then this picture begins to makes A LOT of sense. Star headband, espadrille T-bar wedges, jewelled handbag, jewelled cuff and a gold chunky chain choker. AmazingPhotograph: Venturelli/WireImageFetish a la Louis Vuitton. ADR's trademark is to take a catwalk look and just thoroughly embrace it, which sometimes means she looks a little bit like she's in costume. This belt is a bit 'Darth Vader in a sex shop', for example. For the H&M collection it's probably best to expect the unexpected Photograph: pdp/EMPICS EntertainmentWhether you're calling it a parasol or an umbrella, ADR is surely the women to put the jolly into brolly? Photograph: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty ImagesAnother ADR staple is the thigh high leather boot. Her range launches in autumn so some sort of boot for H&M is a no brainer. But lets hope there's room in the collection for rings that look like eyes and something in the manner of Fraggle Rock? Maybe a furry wrap or some hairy neckpieces?Photograph: Kirstin Sinclair/Getty Images
