Ann Widdecombe elected as one of six MEPS for the South West region in European Elections 2019

The Brexit Party has won three of the six south west seats, with Ann Widdecombe, James Glancy and Christina Jordan all now MEPs.

The remaining seats went to Caroline Voaden (Lib Dems), Molly Scott Cato (Green) and Martin Horwood (Lib Dem).

It means Ashley Fox and Clare Moody have lost their seats.

But the biggest losers, in terms of the number of votes, has been Conservatives and UKIP, mirroring the results across the rest of the UK so far.

The UK is divided into 12 electoral regions made up of the nations and regions of the UK.
