A US commentator has been accused of anti-Semitism over a series of tweets she sent during the Republican debate.
Ann Coulter accused the candidates of pandering to Jewish voters, tweeting to her 663,000 followers: “How many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States?”
Good grief! Huckabee is running for PM of Israel.

During the debate political outsider Carly Fiorina won praise for her impressive grasp of foreign policy.
Coulter is currently supporting Donald Trump for President of the United States.
Trump was the main target during the debate, with many questioning his trustworthiness to be responsible for nuclear weapons.
Her tweet led to accusations of anti-Semitism. Some followers also speculated she was playing a drinking game while watching the debate:
The best part of this tweet is how Ann Coulter censored the language to avoid offending people pic.twitter.com/K7ymS36PY7

@AnnCoulter What kind of jackassery, anti-Semitic Tweet is this? Totally gratuitous. Despicable.

Put the bottle down Ann. RT @AnnCoulter: How many f---ing Jews do these people think there are in the United States?

She defended her comment by saying it wasn’t made targeting Jewish people and that it had to be read in context with previous tweets:
It's not about Jewish people; it's about Republican panderers. https://t.co/OmOL2B9K0E

It has to be read w/ prior tweet. Only 140 characters so sometimes they continue. Not @ Jews; about GOP pandering. https://t.co/WdnG1Y2QMp

Estimates put the number of Jews living in the United States at 6.8 million.
Coulter has previously courted controversy for her remarks about Mexicans: "If you don’t want to be killed by Isis, don’t go to Syria. If you don’t want to be killed by a Mexican, there’s nothing I can tell you."
She also argued that America's growing interest in football "can only be a sign of the nation's moral decay", blaming immigration for inreased interest in the game.
