Ankita Lokhande is excited to kickstart her journey as Archana once again. The actress is beaming with joy as she rose to fame and became a household name through this character. Ankita has been posting about it on her Instagram.

Amid all of it, Ankita Lokhande also shared a photograph of herself from the original Pavitra Rishta days that featured Sushant Singh Rajput and her as Manav and Archana respectively. With a hectic shoot schedule, the actors steal moments in between to take a nap, eat or walk. Back then, Ankita would sleep on a couch in her character's outfit on the set. While the loyal fans of Pavitra Rishta are excited to see her as Archana again, there are a few, who believe no other actor can do justice to Manav's character but the late Sushant Singh Rajput.

On the other hand, after Sushant's shocking demise, Pavitra Rishta's old episodes went on air for 3 hours every afternoon and enjoyed a good viewership. The makers are once again re-running the episodes of Pavitra Rishta.

In the month of June 2021, Pavitra Rishta completed 12 years and Ankita went live on this special occasion to interact with her fans, where she spoke about her memories associated with the show, her bonding with the co-actors, and how she is still attached to them. She was bombarded with several gifts and cakes from her fans and Ankita also got emotional while speaking about Sushant. She revealed that it was him who taught her how to act.
