As T3's Travel and Outdoor Month winds down, there’s one brand we haven’t talked about yet in our roundup of the best travel gadgets. If you're wondering whether I forgot – you're wrong. I actually wanted to save the best for last, and I'm very pleased that I have.
Anker is a go-to name for some of the best power banks around, and it recently even entered the travel adapter space with its shiny new Nano Travel Adapter. I haven’t managed to get my hands on that one yet, but I’ve luckily been testing out the Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh – and I'm very impressed.
You’ll find my full thoughts below, but let’s just say this might be Anker’s most popular power bank for a reason.
Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh review: price and availability
The Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh retails for £89.99/$134.99 and comes in Space Black or Silver. That said, I’ve seen it go for as low as £69.99 on Amazon, so it’s definitely worth shopping around.
Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh review: design and features
Alongside its impressive 25000mAh battery, the Anker Laptop Power Bank offers a total output of up to 165W, meaning you’re not just charging phones here.
Each of the three USB-C ports (two of which are integrated) deliver up to 100W, with an additional USB-A port at 33W. You can charge up to four devices at once, and with a 100W charger, it hits 30% battery in just 20 minutes.

There's a smart display on the front showing real-time info like battery percentage, input/output wattage, and estimated recharge time. It’s a great addition and a great size, making it easy to see the digits.
Anker’s also added its ActiveShield 2.0 tech, which checks the device’s temperature over 3 million times a day to prevent overheating.

My favourite thing about the Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh has to be that two of the USB-C ports have integrated cables. One’s a short 8.6-inch cable that doubles as a carrying strap, and the other is a longer, 27.2-inch retractable cable. This is a total gamechanger, especially if you're constantly digging through your bag for cords or forgetting your cables altogether. They’re thick, durable, and I actually wish it's a feature that more brands would copy.
This does mean there’s only one free USB-C port available, but this is only really a problem if your device isn’t USB-C compatible, so it’s just something to double-check before you commit. Personally, I had no issues at all.

At just under 600g, it’s about average in weight, but when you factor in the built-in cables, it’s actually lighter than most of its competitors.
Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh review: is it worth it?
The Anker Laptop Power Bank 25000mAh is easily one of the most thoughtfully designed and travel-friendly chargers out there. With powerful 165W output, built-in USB-C cables and a premium build, it’s perfect for anyone juggling multiple devices on the go.
The smart display is handy and features like ActiveShield 2.0 add peace of mind. If you travel often or just want a no-fuss, high-capacity charger, this one’s a no-brainer.
