Anjem Choudary's bodyguard who became ISIS executioner is killed in Syria

Hate preacher Anjem Choudary's bodyguard who became an ISIS executioner has been killed in Syria, it is reported.

Mohammed Reza Haque, who was seen burning plastic poppy outside the Royal Albert Hall on Remembrance Sunday nine years ago, fled the UK to join the terror group in 2014

The 39-year-old, dubbed as the 'Jihadi Giant' due to his 6ft6in frame, is believed to have survived until the so-called 'caliphate' along with his wife.

A source told Daily Mail: "He died, either in the final battle of Baghouz, or from his injuries shortly afterwards."

He was previously seen working as a bodyguard for Choudary at demonstration and is said to have connections to Khurram Butt, ringleader of the London Bridge attack in 2017.

Haque was charged with a public order offence following the Remembrance Day incident where he and his fellow extremists chanted 'burn British soldiers, burn in hell' as the crowd observed a two-minute silence.

In 2016, he was seen as one of five masked jihadis executing alleged spies by shooting them in the back of the head in a Syrian desert.

He was crowned the 'new Jihadi John' due to the similarity, who was also from London and beheaded five Western hostages.

Experts, according to the report, believe that Haque took over from 'Jihadi John' as one of the terror group's chief executioners after the leader was killed by a US drone strike.

Videos showed him beheading the victim with knives and sometimes, by guns.

One footage captured the moment before the cruel execution as one terrorist chanted in Arabic: "They thought they were safe.

"But Goad shamed them, and they will be slaughtered by the knife which will slaughter those like them."

Choudary has been released from jail last October after serving five-and-a-year sentence and is now at home in east London.
