Anitta's album 'Funk Generation' releases on April 26.

Anitta, the Brazilian singer, is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated album 'Funk Generation' on April 26. To coincide with the album launch, Anitta has announced the 'Funk Generation Tour,' which will kick off on May 18 in Mexico City, Mexico.

The tour will see Anitta perform in over 20 cities, marking her first tour dates in North America. Following the Mexico City show, she will travel to various destinations in South America and Europe, including major cities like Paris, London, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Ibiza, and more.

'Funk Generation' is a special project for Anitta, as she aims to celebrate her roots and pay homage to Rio's funk music scene. The album promises to showcase the unique, danceable, and sensual beats of Rio's funk genre, which holds a significant place in Anitta's upbringing in the favelas.

Anitta expressed her pride in working on an album that sheds light on a genre that has often been misunderstood and stigmatized in Brazil but is now gaining recognition globally.

Tickets for the U.S. leg of the tour will go on sale starting with Citi and Verizon presales on April 9, followed by the general sale on April 12 via Anitta's official website. European tour dates will also go on sale on April 12, with Mexico City and South America dates becoming available on April 11.

The 'Funk Generation Tour' routing includes stops in key cities such as Los Angeles, Miami Beach, Orlando, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, New York, Bogota, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona, and Milan.

Fans can expect an electrifying experience as Anitta brings the vibrant energy of Rio's funk music to stages across the globe. The tour promises to be a celebration of culture, music, and the power of artistic expression.
