Keep in mind that this Anime Overload Tier List will be updated as we manage to obtain and discover what each and every unit exactly does. The individual units can be obtained by utilizing the in-game gacha summoning system. You can try getting some spins by redeeming codes.
Bear in mind that this list assumes all of the units are evolved and fed to their maximum, which means that all passives and abilities will be available to them. Another thing worth keeping in mind is that the team composition is also extremely important as, for example, six support units will not work nearly as well as a well structured and balanced lineup.
Damage Units Ranked in Anime Overload
S+ Tier Meta DPS Units
These are definitely the strongest units when it comes to dealing damage in Anime Overload. As expected, they mostly come in rarities which are extremely difficult to come by, so consider yourself lucky if you manage to pull them. If you do, definitely invest into them as much Yen as you can as the payout is the best with these units.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Crimson Queen (Dominant) SECRET |
Pros: Arguably the best damage in the game with a wide AoE Passive allows for damage stacking, up to a massive +60% If affected by status effects, gains a whopping +120% Crit Chance Attacks can inflict Bleed, dealing 30% of ability damage every 6s for 18s Cons: When damage starts passively increasing and reaches 30%, the range decreases by 30%. |
![]() Red Hair (Conqueror) SECRET |
Pros: Passives allow him to apply Crushed and Stunned several status effects on enemies, which on top of exerting good crowd control, massively amp up Red Hair's total DMG Ultimate can repel enemies backwards, which can really come in clutch Cons: No instakill abilities, which is not a problem by itself but you should look out for your team composition |
![]() Strongest Alien (Burst) SECRET |
Pros: Possibly the best damage in the game as the ultimate ability deals a whopping 350% Ability Damage to ALL enemies in the game, and just in case anyone survives that, he powers up through his passive by 0.4% for every attack for a maximum of 200% additional damage. A second passive increases his Crit Multiplier if enemies are in range Cons: No crowd control and thus should be utilized in conjunction with support characters |
![]() Bald Hero (Super Serious) MYTHIC |
Pros: Ultimate ability is an instakill to ALL enemies Cons: You will have to work your way up to unlock the ultimate. Until then, you will have to be content with just some damage increases |
![]() Sokono (Domain) MYTHIC |
Pros: Possibly the longest lasting and best looking ultimate in the game which keeps dealing insane damage that ignores all forms of protection Attacks that do not kill enemies power him up by +10% Crit Multiplier and Chance, up to a maximum of +40% Can inflict Bleeding Immune to enemy Status Effects Enemies in his range are slowed by 15% Cons: Must be used in balanced lineups for maximum effect |
S Tier Excellent DPS Units
The units found here can be used to just as good an effect as S+ ones and are definitely worth investing into, but are just a touch below them.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Streliana (True Maiden) SECRET |
Pros: A devastating ultimate ability that deals 380% of ability damage to ALL enemies on the battlefield. Any who survive get inflicted with the Burn status, which delivers 4 ticks of Streliana's Ability Damage. Stacks Crit Chance if more units from the same series are present Stuns all enemies in her range for 3s Cons: Streliana is stunned for 20s after casting her Ultimate Streliana is stunned for 4s upon stunning enemies Consider you lineups carefully to unlock this units' full potenital! |
A Tier DPS Units
The A Tier units in Anime Overload are good especially for early game and can keep up to mid game, but there will be better units which you can grab for late game.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Sunji EPIC |
Pros: Very cheap to place and has a maximum of 4 placements, meaning you can stack up all four quickly for the most Damage output Sunji deals Burn Damage, so if you have 4 continuously dealing DoT, then you Cons: He is good for the start of the game since he is also extra easy to get as an Epic unit, but he does fall off later in comparison to the higher rarity units. |
![]() Killyoa EPIC |
Pros: Another 4 placement unit just like Sunji, meaning there's more chances to activate his Passives Pretty cheap to place and upgrade, making it easy to stack his Damage and Abilities Has a chance to Electrocute enemies and stun them, on top of dealing Cons: The Stun is very RNG dependent, which is why he is in the DPS and not Support section |
Support Units Ranked in Anime Overload
It can't be all about damage in a TD game, which is why we are also ranking the Supports in Anime Overload. These can still be considered great DPS, keep that in mind. However, the biggest importance of their kit are their abilities which help the team in some way, either through debuffs, stuns, farming, etc.
S+ Tier Meta Support Units
These are the best supporting units in Anime Overload and you should be aiming to get them when performing unit summons.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Susono (Indra) SECRET |
Pros: Ultimate deals amazing 300% Ability Damage to all enemies within range and Electrocutes them Passive can apply the Electrocution status effect, which repeatedly stuns enemies Second passive increases damage per enemy stunned up to a +30% Cons: Team composition is of paramount importance as this is not primarily a damage dealer |
![]() Speedcart EPIC |
Pros: If you've seen him in other TDs, you'll know that Speedcart is always at the top of the Support farming units Very cheap to place and has a maximum placement of 3, which is better than the other Farm unit Eskanor Since this is an Epic unit, you will get him easier in less than 50 pulls. Cons: Earns less money than Eskanor |
S Tier Excellent Support Units
Close to being the best supporting units but not quite, these ones are still definitely worth pursuing.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Kid Psychic ( 99% ) MYTHIC |
Pros: Deals +25% to flying enemies, can inflict long 5s stuns to enemies Powerful ultimate Reduces CD on all abilities if he survives 5 waves Amps himself up if there are allied heroes with enemy status effects Cons: Aside from the ultimate, damage is somewhat lacking so consider your lineup carefully |
![]() Inoomaki EPIC |
Pros: Inoomaki has an excellent kit to go against enemies with his Cursed Speech Cons: Not cheap for an Epic Unit, costs the same as regular Goju for example Every action has quite a bit of a CD, and once they are all on CD, Inoomaki gets a 10% Debuff |
A Tier Good Support Units
While not the best ones in the game, A Tier units are still good and viable and can be utilized to a great effect inside Anime Overload.
| Unit | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Ener ( Lightning ) MYTHIC |
Pros: Amps up allied Storm and Light heroes for some massive damage Attacks inflict Electrocution to enemies, stunning them continuously Powerful ultimate Cons: Situational benefits No large scale sources of damage Lacking passives Requires specific lineup to work |
![]() Eskanor LEGENDARY |
Pros: Eskanor can generate the most money of the farming units Cons: The maximum of one placement really hinders him While he can farm a lot more Money than all three Speedcarts can put together, Eskanor also costs much more to place and upgrade than all three Speedcarts put together |
