Anime Overload has a great spread of various unit types like pure DPS, supporting/debuff DPS units, cleanse units and farm units. Finding the right balance and team setup is key for late-game modes and challenges. Here's my Anime Overload tier list for the best units and traits.

Anime Overload Best Units & Traits
The best units in Anime Overload for beginners are the non-Secret A-Tier DPS units while for late-game you want the S-Tiers. The B-Tiers are good alternatives but they're a bit less flexibile than the higher tiers. Make sure to bring at least one or two Debuff DPS units since they deal great damage with various supporting effects. Let's dive into each unit below and talk about what they're good at and the best traits for them.
Best Units for Beginners: Sukuna and Bald Hero for Hybrid or Yuno if you need a quick Air.
Impure Stars Materials: Challenges and also Green (Ninja Leaf), Blue (Marine Fort), Yellow (Namek), Green (Sky Island), Purple/Red (Cursed Arena).
Farm: Get farm units ASAP.
Cleanse: These are easy-to-get units that cleanse status effects (Great supports for harder stages).
Best Traits: Overloaded is generally your best bet for DPS but you want Voidborn on units that apply debuffs on-hit so that you can spread out the CC effects.
S-Tier DPS

 Kaitou (Scythe) |
• Even though Strongest Alien and Sukuna might better I still love Kaitou since he's much easier to get • He deals amazing bleed damage for bosses and has an execute ability for low HP mobs • Best budget Meta unit in the game • Scythe is the best option then Trinity then Hammer then Gun Best Trait: Voidborn |
S-Tier Debuff DPS

• Tons of utility with enemy slows and reducing their buffs • Pierces shields • The ultimate is a massive AOE stun which is a great supporting ability • Plus, he has great AOE damage for clearing crowds Best Trait: Voidborn |
 Ener (Lightning) Mythic Lightning Drums - Act 2 Sky Island |
• Has a ton of AOE damage and stuns to stall enemies • Also has great self buffs as he progresses his Vari Bar • At max bar you can do an AOE stun similar to Goju so Ener is a great support to bring Best Trait: Overloaded |
 Sosoke (RS) Mythic Purple Eyes - Act 1 Ninja Leaf |
• Amazing utility unit for both Ground damage and stalling enemies • You get slows with trance • You also get damage amplification for all your units when Sosoke marks them with dark flame • Excellent support unit Best Trait: Voidborn |

 Bald Hero (Super Serious) Mythic 100% Shopping Coupon - Act 2 Namek |
• Amazing beginner unit for a quick Hybrid DPS • Excellent boss killer • You want him at the front for constant attacks to proc his crit buffs • The ultimate destroys shields and stuns which is amazing utility Best Trait: Overloaded |
 Imperial Silver (Prime) Mythic Shake Fruit - Marine Fortess Act 1 + Sky Island Act 1 |
• A decent unit to bring for Repel and stalling enemy units • A mix of support and DPS • Great to bring for farming Evolve materials Best Trait: Voidborn |

 Greye (Frost) Mythic |
• One of the better Ground DPS units without Overloaded • You want Voidborn because the more copies you have the more you can spread out the status effect • More status effect = more DPS on Greye Best Trait: Voidborn |
 Tojee Legendary |
• Not the most powerful raw DPS-wise but a quick access to shield breaking which is incredibly useful |
C-Tier DPS
